GetFreight

Questions brokers ask before they call.

Find shippers with cross-border freight. Know who to call. Know what to say.

What is GetFreight?

A morning call list for freight brokers.

Open Today. That’s who to call. Each name comes with a reason, and a phone when we have one.

This is not a phone book and not a list you buy. You either Mine My Book (customers you already have) or Find Shippers (ones you don’t). Either one fills Today.

Why aren’t there carriers?

Because you don’t prospect carriers.

You call shippers. Carriers are who you tender to after you have the freight. Mixing them in would turn Today into a directory again.

If a company is a trucking company or a 3PL with no shipper book, it does not belong here.

How does Mine My Book work?

Upload the customers you already have (CSV, up to 2,000 rows). Required column: company, customer, or account. Website, city, state help the match.

We match your list to our shipper book and hand back a working call list: who looks like Mexico or Canada freight, a contact, and a reason to pick up.

Your list stays on your account. Unknown names can get researched (capped per upload). When you’re done, Open Today — that’s where those names should show up in the morning.

This is not a CRM import. It’s “which of my customers should I call about cross-border.”

What’s the difference between Mine My Book and Find Shippers?

Mine My Book starts with names you already have. We tell you which ones look like Mexico or Canada freight, and who to call.

Find Shippers starts with a lane, industry, or city. We rank shippers you may not know yet.

Both fill Today. If you have a customer list, start there. If you’re hunting a new lane, Find Shippers.

What does the Mexico / Canada signal mean?

It’s a prioritization aid, not a promise they have a load tomorrow.

We look at recorded facilities in Mexico or Canada, cross-border footprint, and sourced plant or capex news when we have it. Treat it as “worth a call,” then read the profile before you dial.

A high signal means the footprint is there. It does not mean they awarded you the lane.

What does Freight Score mean?

Same idea as the Mexico / Canada signal: a profile hint, not a booked load.

It ranks how call-worthy the footprint looks from what we have (facilities, cross-border, industry, scale). A high score is “call this one first.” It is not “they have freight on the dock.”

How does Today pick the names?

In this order, about ten names:

  1. Pipeline people who are due or overdue
  2. Mine My Book matches that look call-worthy
  3. Only if those two are empty: a few starter shippers

If you have a book or a pipeline, the line is Here’s who to call today. We do not dump Fortune names on you as the Monday list.

Nobody on the list? Mine My Book or Find Shippers. That’s how tomorrow gets names.

Why isn’t GM / Boeing / Exxon my Monday list?

Because that’s a directory, not a call list.

Today is who you should call: your follow-ups, your book, then a few starters if those are empty. Megacaps everyone already knows are not the morning job.

Do credits block me in beta?

No.

You’ll see a credit count in the nav. We track usage so we know what people actually do. In beta, credits do not stop search, Today, call prep, or looking up people.

Paid plans on the pricing page are proposed. Nothing billed, nothing gated, until we say otherwise in the product.

How do I get a phone number?

On Today, if we have a real phone, the card says Call. Tap it.

If we don’t, the card says so. Open the shipper. Use the contact we named, or ask for Logistics or Transportation Manager.

Mine My Book is the fastest way to get phones on people you already know. Find Shippers is how you add names you don’t. We do not invent numbers.

Who do I ask for?

If we have a name, the card says Ask for {name}.

If we don’t, ask for Logistics or Transportation Manager. That’s the desk that usually owns outbound freight. Don’t open with “who handles shipping?” if we already gave you a name.

My customer didn’t match. Now what?

Check the spelling and add a website or city if you have one. Then re-upload or leave it — unmatched rows can sit as Unknown, and some get queued for research (capped per upload).

Refresh in a minute if you see Queued for AI research. If it still isn’t there, Find Shippers and search the name. You can also request the company from search.

A miss is not a dead account. It means we don’t have a confident match yet.

Is my customer list shared?

No. Your upload is private to your account.

We use it to match and to fill your Today list. Other brokers do not see your book.

What is a watched shipper?

A name you want to keep an eye on, even if you’re not calling them this morning.

Open the shipper and tap Watch. They show up on Today under Watched shippers. That’s not your call list — it’s the bench.

How do I get in? Is it free?

Request access. No demo call, no card. We review it. Beta is free.

We’ll email you when the account is ready. Then open Today.

What should I do first?

Open Today. If it’s empty, Mine My Book (you have customers) or Find Shippers (you need names). That is the whole loop.

Can I export a list?

Yes. Save shippers and export CSV when you want them in your own tools.

Where does this come from?

Public filings, plant and capex news, hiring, customs, and labeled research. Freshness varies. If a field was researched, the product says so. Read the source before you treat it as gospel.

How is this different from a contact list?

Contact tools sell people. We sell a game plan: who to call today, why, and what to say.

A phone without a reason is still a cold call. Today is the reason plus the phone.

Does this cover Canada, or just Mexico?

Both. Shippers in the US, Mexico, and Canada. Mine My Book looks for Mexico and Canada freight on your customers. Find Shippers ranks both.

Still stuck?

Email hello@getfreight.ai. That’s a person.

Don’t wait there for a call list. Mine My Book or Find Shippers first.
